Common issues
Commands are missing or don't appear in Discord.
Check that Valtrix is still in your server, then try Discord's command picker again. If the commands are still missing, re-invite Valtrix or ask for help in the support Discord.
Browse the command directoryA moderation command says Valtrix can't act on that member or role.
Open Server Settings → Roles and move Valtrix above the roles it needs to assign or manage. Its role must also be above members it moderates. Keep trusted staff roles above Valtrix. Check that it has the permission required by the command.
Review role setupServer or moderation logs aren't appearing.
Set the destination with /setlog channel:#server-logs. To route moderation cases separately, use /modlog channel:#mod-logs. Make sure Valtrix can view the selected channel, send messages, and embed links.
View log setup stepsWelcome or goodbye messages aren't sending.
Set a channel and message with /welcome or /goodbye. Check that Valtrix can view and send messages in that channel. If the settings look correct but member events still don't trigger, contact support.
View greeting setupThe ticket panel or new ticket channel isn't working.
Deploy a panel with /ticket panel and choose its channel, ticket category, and optional support role. Valtrix needs permission to send in the panel channel and Manage Channels to create ticket channels. Check category permissions too.
View ticket setupMembers can't submit suggestions.
A server manager needs to configure a destination first with /suggestion setchannel channel:#suggestions. Then members can submit with /suggestion submit.
View suggestion setupAutoMod or the word filter isn't removing messages.
Check the current settings with /security, and make sure AutoMod is enabled with /automod enabled:True. The word filter only runs while AutoMod is enabled. Members with Manage Messages or Administrator are exempt from AutoMod.
